On 8 February, within the framework of the Ministry of Welfare's project "Development of Professional and Modern Social Work", a workshop on "Digitalisation in Social Work Practice: working with Data and the Possibilities of Artificial Intelligence" was held in Riga.
The main objective of the workshop was to raise awareness about the skillful use of data in planning social services, the possibilities of artificial intelligence, modern tools for data processing, data analysis, data visualisation and their application in everyday work.
Data scientist Uģis Sprūdžs (MBA,CFA) spoke to participants about both traditional statistical methods and newer data science-based solutions for faster professional data analysis.
Artūrs Mednis, a digital marketing expert, introduced the world of artificial intelligence and the upcoming AI tsunami.
